Pete and Sharon McMillan TEAM Madrid, Spain
After many years serving in Venezuela, Peter and Sharon have arrived in Sanchinarro, Madrid to embark on their new ministry there. They are busy with the following:
-
learning their way around a neighborhood of about 25,000 people -
looking to rent a facility for their church which has no name at present -
immersing themselves in the community and culture -
discovering how to get to the gas station and grocery store -
getting involved in volunteer projects so they can meet the people who live in the area -
and generally starting all over!
As soon as they can rent a facility, they will advertise their church and begin to offer English classes as well as other activities. There are many issues that must be solved with visas and documents needed by Immigration that are requiring much time and effort. Making a home is also on their agenda. The McMillans can be reached at psmcmillan@cantv.net.
