Peter and Diane Bakelaar

Japan

Peter and Diane Bakelaar serve in Nagoya, Japan as longtime church planters with MTW. Some of Peter's responsibilities include overseeing both the church planting team and the Nisshin Christ Church. Once a month, he teaches in Japanese to the Nisshin church and also at another church plant an hour away. He is involved with an evangelistic Bible study and teaches conversational English.

Diane helps with children's Sunday school. She is involved in organizing schedules and overseeing the team budget. She also serves on the Christian school's advisory committee and is a liaison between the school and missions team. Peter and Diane have four children. Please pray that as a church we would continue to be rooted and grounded in Christ.

Pray for wisdom as we consider new geographic loactions to begin new churches.

Pray for continued growth and maturity within the Nisshin Christ Church so that we may reach Japan and the world for Christ.

Pray for Godly people in the lives of our children that will come alongside and shepherd in ways that they affirm us as parents.
